Our Sunday Service Opening Prayer: “Spirit Led – Spirit Fed”
By: Deborah A. Ducharme

My heart, mind, body and soul are Spirit Led,
Thy will be done.
God is my resource and I am Spirit Fed.
Thy will be done.
I am expanding in my capacity to receive and express my Divine inheritance, humanly, as well as divinely.
Thy will be done.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
On earth, as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors
And leave us not in temptation
But deliver us from evil
For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power and the glory, forever, A-MEN

Psalm 19:14

Lord, my Strength and my Liberator.
May the words of my mouth
and the whisperings of my heart
always be acceptable in your Presence.
O Lord, my rock, and my redeemer

The Prayer of Protection – James Dillet Freeman

The LIGHT of God surround us,
The LOVE of God enfolds us,
The POWER of God protects us
The PRESENCE of God watches over us – wherever we are, God is! And all is well!

The Prayer of Faith – Hannah More Kauhaus

God is my help in every need;
God does my every hunger feed;
God walks beside me, guides my way
Through every moment of the day.
I now am wise, I now am true,
Patient, kind, and loving too.
All things I am, can do, and be,
Through Christ, the Truth that is in me.
God is my health, I can’t be sick;
God is my strength, unfailing, quick;
God is my all, I know no fear,
Since God and love and Truth are here.

A PROSPERITY Affirmation

Here is a Prosperity affirmation by Louise Hay towards greater and greater good.
Once a day, stand with your arms wide open and say with joy…

I am open and receptive to all the good and abundance in the Universe, Thank you, Life.
(Note: Life with a capital refers to God’s Life!)

You can even do it in front of a mirror and notice what comes up for you as you speak the affirmation) You become your own witness!
Look, see and listen to the person in the mirror and ask yourself if you believe it.
Notice if you speak with conviction and faith?
Don’t judge yourself wrong or bad or poor. Just notice what you see and hear and alter your delivery until you feel it, sense it and know it to be true. Until that moment, act ‘as if’ you believe it is true until it becomes so.)

Remember, everything you say and think is an affirmation. Be aware of your words and your thoughts, keep them positive. Acknowledge and release any negative thoughts that come up.

An Affirmation to begin each day of this New Year
Composed by: Deborah A. Ducharme

As I breathe into each moment of this New Year
Keeping my heart and mind open to love, not fear
Filled with integrity, commitment, faith and strength
Knowing the Highest power walks with me at length

For I am a blessed child of a loving Power
Recipient heir of His Radiant shower
Of life, wisdom, understanding, order and zeal
Gifting me, my life, as genuine, good and real

Looking deep within myself, being still, to hear
The guiding voice which offers to steer
Me to embracing my magnificence and way
Leaping in faith; trusting, not controlling the day!

Love Casts Out Fear
By Martha Smock

I believe fear is conquered through love. “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear” (1 Jn. 4:18). We cannot fear that which we love.

If you are afraid of something or someone, turn your attention to what you love rather than holding on to the thought of fear. The following meditations can help you in the stillness of prayer:

I let love cast out fear of disease or ill health.
I love the life idea. I fall in love with life. I think life and talk life. I see myself filled with life, the very life of God.
I love, praise, and give thanks for the life of God that is my life—the life of God which heals, restores, and renews me.
With thoughts and feelings of love—love of life, love of the healing idea—I release my thoughts of ill health, disease, and fear. I am in love with life, and I express the life of God, radiantly, wonderfully, powerfully.

I let love cast out fear of being alone.
I love my life. I love the place that I call home. I love knowing that I am never alone, that God is always with me. I give love, and I feel surrounded and enfolded by the love of God.
I may be alone but I am never lonely. I think lovingly of my dear ones near and far. I pray with love for the people I feel close to and for the world. I feel a part of the great and wonderful family of God. Love makes me one with God and one with all God’s children.

I let love cast out fear of lack.
Love replaces poverty thoughts. I love the realization that I am a rich child of a rich God. I love the work that is mine to do. I love and praise God as my dependable, unfailing resource. I love the flow of supply that is without limitation. I love, use, and express the talents and abilities with which I have been endowed. I love the feeling of success and satisfaction that I have because my trust is in God. I love the thought that my daily needs are met and that my future needs will be met as well. I express love and release thoughts of lack. I express love—God’s prospering love—as I let myself share willingly and freely with others.

I let love cast out fear of failure.
I love the opportunities that are mine. I love the challenges that stir me to deeper thought and greater effort. I love the spirit of faith and courage that refuses to let fear dominate me. I love the feeling of spiritual power—the power of the Christ within me—that is mine when I act courageously and dare to step out in faith.

I love the feeling of reassurance which comes when I listen to the “still small voice” within telling me that I can succeed.

I let love cast out fear of people.
I express love toward all, and I attract love from all.
Love—divine love—is never mistrusted, never mistrusts. Love—divine love—never mistreats and is never mistreated. Love is always harmonious. Love breaks down barriers of timidity or lack of understanding. Love is not overpowered by personality. Love meets in agreement with the best in others and reveals it.

I meet life and people in a loving spirit, and life and people respond to me with warmth, friendliness, and love.

I let love cast out fear of change.
I think about change, and I hold this positive thought: I love the thought of change! Love assures me that through every change God is with me. In every changing condition or circumstance, love reveals something new and rewarding. I meet change with love, and I am blessed, enriched, and made happier.

I let love cast out fear of fear.
Love casts out unreasonable fear. Love casts out fear of fear itself! I remember that God loves me. What is there to fear? God is love, and God loves me.
“Neither death, nor life … nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God” (Rom. 8:38-39).
Fearlessly I meet life and love God, knowing that God loves me and that nothing and no one can separate me from the love of God.
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.”

THE POWER OF LOVE
BY MARTHA SMOCK

We BELIEVE love is the greatest power there is. Love makes us master at all times and in every situation. If you have something in your life that needs overcoming, use the following meditations and let love transform your life and all your affairs.

FOR HEALING….

I love the life idea. I fall in love with life. I think life, talk life. I see myself filled with life, the very life of God.

I love my body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.

I love and praise and give thanks for the life of God that is my life, the life of God that heals and restores and makes new.

With thoughts and feelings of love–love of life, love of the healing idea–I cast out thoughts of ill-health, of disease, of fear. I am in love with life and I express the life of God, radiantly, wonderfully, powerfully.

FAITH
Meet it With Faith by Martha Smock

“Has something occurred to cause you grief or
unhappiness? Meet it with faith, the faith that God is
with you, the faith that God is present in every person
and in every situation, the faith that God can be trusted
to bless, to renew, to heal, and to make all things right.

Meet it with faith! This is the way to overcome
unhappiness. As you look past what seems to be and
hold to the truth that nothing can separate you from God’s
love, nothing can cast you down, nothing is greater than
God’s power in you, cares slip away, and the joy of Spirit
rises up in you.

The faith you have in the invisible but all-providing
Spirit will bring forth results in outer ways that will
sometimes be astonishing. You can prove God as your
source and your supply as you meet every appearance of
lack, every thought of lack with faith – faith that is
strong and unwavering, faith that calls forth God, calls
forth the power of good, and sets God’s wonderful Spirit
to work in and through you.

Whatever the appearance, meet it with faith!.
