“The Philosophy of Jesus”
Lesson 4

Wednesday, May 15th at 7 pm
Thursday, May 16th at 12:30 pm
“Effectual Prayer”
Jesus said, “It will happen for you just as you have believed”. (Matthew 9:29)

Prayer is like a master-key? Instead of needing 70 keys to unlock 70 doors, what if you could have the master-key for all of them? This is not an over-simplification.

Very few people realize how greatly their fears, doubts and negativity degrade the quality their everyday existence. Fortunately, healthier ways of thinking provide the surest way to turn things around. Better health, a longer lifespan, greater happiness, satisfying relationships, increased prosperity and an easier life is within everyone’s reach.

Prayer, rightly understood, is the easiest way to “train” your mind to think and believe. Prayer will transform your life and how you live it because it will transform “you”. And, as your core “beliefs” improve, so does everything.
We encourage you to join us for this important class series.

“The Philosophy of Jesus”
Lesson 3

Wednesday, May 8th at 7 p.m.
Thursday, May 9th at 12:30 p.m.

“The Science of Prayer”

One of the outstanding things about the teaching of Jesus was that he did not reserve the use of spiritual Power for some future event, but boldly proclaimed that the kingdom of God is here and now and that the Law of Mind is available for every legitimate and constructive human purpose.

He said that unless our prayers are amiss, that is, unless they are contrary to good, they will be answered. Jesus healed the sick, and yet none of his immediate followers was a physician.

I believe that when we combine psychosomatic medicine, which is body-mind relationships, with spiritual Power, we will have gone a long way toward finding the road to health.

All prayers will be answered when we pray aright.
What must we do to pray aright?

New Class Series

“The Power that Jesus Used”

Historically, the basic philosophy and teachings of Jesus have been shrouded in archaic terminology that does not fit into today’s world. The very simplicity of Jesus’ teachings eludes ordinary thinking. As a matter of fact, it is so easy that it is difficult, so direct that most fail to catch its significance.
Great Truths are timeless — but cultures, and patterns of thinking change.

When properly understood, the fundamental Spiritual Truths that Jesus advanced have practical meaning for us, today.

As Earnest Holmes said, “Jesus was not the great exception; he was the great example”. Jesus devoted three years to teaching his students in how to think in a brand new way about themselves, others, the world and God.

We encourage you to join us for this great new class series.

“Prosperity” means a “successful, flourishing, or thriving condition”. Over a hundred verses in the Bible refer to God’s promise of “a land flowing with milk and honey.” Notice the word “flowing.” Such a promise might bring up an image of a steadily-flowing river that will not fail to provide abundant water for the needs of everyone.

This week’s lesson is about the Idea of unlimited abundance. Life becomes easier and more joyful as we learn to allow goodness to flow through us from Within. This is what the author meant by the term “Creative Process”.

We offer two opportunities each week. Wednesday evenings beginning at 7 p.m., and Thursdays at 12:30. We invite you to join us this week.
